COVID-19 Impacting Wastewater Dynamics Nationwide
The rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the economy including businesses small and large across the country, our friends and loved ones. Due to the social distancing guidelines, many businesses are closed completely or have significantly reduced output. The business closings and dramatic shift in how many of us are adjusting our lives to help curb the pandemic is having a marked impact on wastewater treatment plant flow and loading in some areas.
In the past several days EOSi has received a number of requests for our MicroC® products from a variety of industries and municipal clients to supplement the BOD / COD carbon loading shortfall as a result of these changes. MicroC® carbon sources are non-hazardous enabling easy and rapid deployment in packaged or bulk quantities to maintain the operational and biological process health of the wastewater treatment plant.

It is imperative that we continue to work together to maintain the health of our receiving waters and environment. Discharge of excess nutrients, bacteria and other contaminants will lead to other water borne diseases and harmful algae blooms that will put ever greater pressure on the health of Americans, the healthcare system and delay our recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The EOSi team is prepared to support all our customers through these tough times. Contact us below to learn more.
Be safe.
