MicroC® 4000 Series
The MicroC® 4000 product series includes custom formulations for sensitive and/or specialized applications such as selenium removal, drinking water and perchlorate removal.
This series includes our NSF/ANSI 60 certified products for drinking water treatment, and our customized products for some industrial treatment systems that may need additional macro or micronutrients to support their unique biomasses.
EOSi works with our customers to develop the appropriate ratio of these constituents for each specific application. These products provide the convenience for our customers and an opportunity to enhance performance and eliminate capital expense for multiple storage and feed systems.
MicroC 4000
MicroC 4000 is an NSF 60 certified carbon source for biological contaminat removal in various water types, including drinking water. The product is used in both in-situ and ex-situ remediation projects targeting nitrate, perchlorate and other contaminants.
MicroC 4075
MicroC 4075 is an NSF 60 certified carbon source for biological contaminant removal in various water types, including drinking water. The product is MicroC 4000 with nitrogen and phosphorus added to meet the customer's requirements.
MicroC 4100
MicroC 4100 is a non-hazardous, carbohydrate based caron source used primarily for nitrate and selenium removal from various industrial water types. This product can be custom blended with phosphorus and/or nitrogen to balance the C:N:P ratios in the treatment system.
MicroC 4125
MicroC 4100 with phosphorus added to meet the customer's requirements.
MicroC 4200
MicroC 4200 is a non-hazardous glycerin based carbon source used in industrial applications for denitrification, phosphorus removal and selenium removal. This product can be custom blended with phosphorus and/or nitrogen to balance the C:N:P ratios in the treatment system.
MicroC 4225
MicroC 4200 with phosphorus added to meet the customer's requirements.
MicroC 4275
MicroC 4200 with nitrogen and phosphorus added to meet the customer's requirements.
MicroC 4400
MicroC 4400 is a non-hazardous carbohydrate based carbon source used primarily for nitrate and selenium removal from various industrial water types. The product can be custom blended with phosphorus and/or nitrogen to balance the C:N:P ratios in the treatment system. This formulation is often recommended for high rate/short HRT systems.
