Product Manager
Objective/Scope:
The PM is responsible for managing the company’s suite of existing MicroC® carbon sources for wastewater treatment applications and developing next generation MicroC® products. In addition to managing new inorganic product line additions.
Essential Functions / Priority Tasks:
Next Generation MicroC® Products:
- Develop and implement product road-mapping tools and processes to effectively manage the product development process
- Lead sourcing efforts for new raw materials from agriculture, chemical and petrochemical industries to develop next generation MicroC® products
- In conjunction with supply chain sourcing efforts, lead raw material screening process to expeditiously move candidate raw materials out of or through the product development funnel
- Develop cost models as needed for product formulations and new product development
- Regulatory review of new raw material candidates (Toxicity, EHS, SARA, CERCLA, RCRA, etc.)
- Coordinate laboratory testing on viable candidates with internal EOSi lab and third party laboratories as needed
- Work closely with sales and engineering teams to coordinate lab-scale testing and pilot scale testing at customer locations
- Develop supporting literature and registrations as needed, e.g. SDS, Specifications, etc.
Existing MicroC® Products:
- Directly manage regulatory aspects of the existing products including EHS, SDS, specifications and other external literature, regulatory approvals and registrations
- Support supply chain and operations teams with raw material cost management, inventory and shelf-life management, manufacturing and production SOP’s
- Support the Quality and Laboratory Teams by maintaining up to date procedures, lab practices and methods
New Product Lines:
- Assist in identification of complementary wastewater treatment chemical product lines
- Lead implementation of new product line additions to the business, incorporating EOSi’s best practices to and processes

Key Performance Indicators / Metrics
Key annual KPIs/Metrics include:
- Successfully manage existing product portfolio
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key individuals at medium/large raw material suppliers
- Develop Product Roadmap tools and process
- Financial metrics for new product launch
Required qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business or Technical Field (Chemistry/Chem-E, Environmental Engineering)
- Minimum of 5-10 years of background and experience in a similar product development role
- Prior experience of bringing new products to market from concept to launch
- Strong preference for professional experience in the chemicals industry and specifically in the water/wastewater chemical industry
- Advanced / strong skills in Microsoft Office Software programs, especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and listening skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills and project management skills

- This is a remote home office-based job with limited geographic restrictions on location, however, ideal candidate will be located close to the home office in Pocasset, MA (Cape Cod), and have a proven ability to be productive in remote home office environment as well.
- Preference will be given to those candidates with chemical or wastewater experience
