Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
The Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer will report to the Automation and Instrumentation Manager. The I&C Engineer will work closely with the sales team and technical teams to manage pilot trials, develop service programs and coordinate ongoing program performance monitoring and optimization efforts for Key Accounts. The I&C Engineer will assist in the development, installation, and maintenance of strategic implementations of various types of instrumentation and control systems for cloud-based innovations being developed for the Water/Wastewater industry. Other key focus areas will include hardware selection and implementation, programming, device communications, and data analytics. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming and/or automated controls experience is required
Successful candidates will have a B.S. in engineering, science, the environmental field or a related discipline; a degree in Electrical, Computer or Chemical Engineering preferred. Individual should have five or more years of Instrumentation & Controls and/or PLC programming experience and at least three years of wastewater industry experience. Applicants must have a strong technical background, excellent writing skills and be an effective communicator. Applicants must be able to work on a team and manage multiple tasks. Familiarity with common biological nutrient removal practices, technologies and methodologies is a plus.
